ForumCiv is the largest civil society platform in Sweden. Our members are Swedish organization. The coordination of the Swedish member organizations is done through our head office in Stockholm. The head office also support ForumCiv's other offices with communication support, finance support and capacity development.

Project funding

ForumCiv's head office operates as sub-granting administrators. The office is responsible for the Swedish partnership programme. Swedish organizations can, together with one or multiple local partner organizations, apply for grants from the Swedish Partnership Programme. 

Advocacy and network

Together with partners in developing countries and our member organizations, ForumCiv is advocating to influence Swedish and European policies towards a fair and sustainable world. We create opinion and ensure that voices from developing countries are heard in the Swedish debate.

In Sweden we also work with Globalportalen, one of ForumCiv's information and communication projects since 2000. Globalportalen is a digital platform aimed at young adults who are passionate about global issues and want to contribute to a just and sustainable world.

At our Stockholm head office, we also coordinate the Eastern Partnership Network that aims to strengthen collaboration with civil society in the Eastern Partnership countries and Russia.
