About the role 

ForumCiv is seeking intern to join our fundraising team, supporting our fundraising efforts with research, event organizing and administration. ForumCiv fundraising is focusing on three areas: development of programmes to multilateral donors, consultancy delivery (evaluations, methods and assessments) and philanthropic outreach. In this role, you will be involved in all three aspects, working closely with fundraising coordinator, communication and programme development team.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in research of different programmes by institutional donors such as Sida, USAID, EU, NORAD and similar.
  • Provide administrative support in development of consultancy database.
  • Research of major trends of corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, and institutional donor landscape.   
  • Support the planning and coordination events, particularly Philanthropic symposium.
  • Support drafting of communication materials and reports.

You will be researching calls for proposals, reading about development and foreign policy of different countries and organizations, read and research on new trends in philanthropic giving; also administer and file a large, developing database, plan a large, high-level event, and a lot more fun stuff.

Location and duration 

The internship will be based at our Stockholm office, running full-time, partially online, from mid-February 2025 to May 2025. Please note this is an unpaid position, best suited for candidates who can integrate it with their ongoing studies or job support programmes.

About you

  • To be considered for this internship, you should have:
  • A relevant educational background in political science, human rights, communication, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in global development and civil society issues.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with administrative tasks.
  • A proactive and organized approach, with strong teamwork skills.
