CAMINOS Staff Exchange Project
The project is centred around capacity building, cultural exchange, and knowledge transfer, leveraging ROLAC’s agroecological expertise and ROESA’s experience in PPDP’s governance strengths.
The CAMINOS Staff Exchange Project aligns with several key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1, 2, 5, 10, 13, 16,17, contributing to global efforts in fostering sustainable development, partnerships for goals, gender equality, and inclusive governance.
Project goal
Enhanced institutional capacity and solid cross‐regional collaboration among ForumCiv's regional offices, and empowered communities for sustainable development and equality.
Outcome 1: Increased adoption of agroecological practices and community‐based methods for local initiatives, leading to improved, sustainable and resilient livelihoods.
- Output 1.1: ROESA staff have gained a deeper understanding of agroecological sustainable practices.
- Output 1.2: Enhanced knowledge in the implementation and scaling of agroecological practices in ROESA programming.
- Output 1.3: Local communities in Kenya, especially women, increase their knowledge and skills about agroecological practices that result relevant for rural economic livelihood interventions.
Outcome 2: Increased adoption of Public‐Private Development Partnership (PPDP) approaches within ROLAC activities, leading to the design of innovative, multi‐stakeholder initiatives for sustainable development.
- Output 2.1: ROLAC staff have learned methods for implementing Public‐Private Development Partnership (PPDP) models.
- Output 2.2: ROLAC staff have the capacity to facilitate Stakeholder Engagements and Partnerships for PPDP.
- Output 2.3: Local CSOs and communities in Colombia increase their knowledge and skills in governance and development initiatives based on PDDP frameworks.
