Call for proposals: Supporting regional networks for civic rights

News - 2026-06-22
The Our Rights, Our Future! project is inviting proposals from organizations and networks that want to help communities, especially young people, speak up, organize, and take part safely and meaningfully in public life.

Funded by the European Union, Our Rights, Our Future! is implemented by ForumCiv, COSPE, and the Centre for Civil and Political Rights. The project works across nine countries in four regions: Indonesia and Sri Lanka in South East Asia; Kenya, Senegal, and Eswatini in Africa; Tunisia and Palestine in the MENA region; and Brazil and Colombia in Latin America.

The initiative aims to support civil society organizations, community-based groups, networks, and coalitions that are defending and promoting the rights to freedom of association and peaceful assembly. A special focus is placed on youth-led and youth-focused organizations, recognizing the vital role young people play in shaping fairer, more open, and more democratic societies.

Through this call, the project seeks to strengthen regional collaboration, amplify local voices, and support collective action that protects civic freedoms at national, regional, and global levels.

This call is specifically addressed for regional networks (Lot FSTP 3a), and the deadline for submission of applications is 3 July 2026 - 11:59 pm CET.
